Chinese researchers cite clues that cats and dogs may transmit COVID-19

The origin of the COVID-19 disease is not certain, but many have pointed to a live-animal market in Wuhan, China. Chinese researchers, however, present genetic data they say suggest many mammals around the world could have a role in spreading the disease, including dogs and cats.
